 Onsite Consulting

• Provide an onsite resource for safety to address the day to day operation of the clients program.
• Develop policy, procedures, complete hazard assessments, inspections, investigations, meetings, contractor management.
• Mentor less experienced staff who are responsible for safety; prepare for and conduct safety meetings, prepare for and conduct inspections and investigations.

OHS Required Documentation

•  Alberta OHS legislation requires that employers have certain documentation readily available. Examples include various Codes of Practice for chemicals, noise, etc.
  
• Other required documents include fall protection plans, manufacturers’ specifications, safety data sheets for chemicals

 COR Action Plan Development

• When a COR holder experiences a serious injury or fatality, the PIR program requires that an action plan be developed by the employer and submitted to the Alberta Government for review.
  
• We have experience and knowledge in what areas the PIR program expects in these Action Plans.

 Site Compliance Inspection

• Conduct onsite inspections to identify non compliances with Alberta safety legislation. Recommend corrective action.

 OHS Targeted Employer List Assistance

• Each year the Alberta Government selects employers in certain industry sectors or those with high injury rates.
  
• We provide strategies and guidance to assist those clients in achieving compliance and identify strategies to start working towards removal from these enforcement programs.

Incident Investigation

• Certain serious incidents and near misses require that a comprehensive investigation of the circumstances be completed.

• We can assist clients from the early stages of the investigation through to the report submission to Alberta OHS.

Program Auditing

• Audits of new or existing safety management systems are performed and submitted
• Gap analysis audits provide the client with a snapshot of their existing program strengths and provides strategic direction for the continuous improvement of the program.
